Meet Your Trainer
Dr. Lisa Brooks Greaux is principal and founder of SYNC, a leadership development consultancy which specializes in executive coaching. Greaux spent 25 years climbing the career ladder at Fortune 500 companies and brings a rich tranche of corporate experience to the table in addition to her skills as a leadership development strategist and hands-on coach. In her coaching practice, she emphasizes the ways in which personal and professional development are intertwined and is committed to helping leaders in-the-pipeline achieve their full potential, while leveraging their authentic strengths. She’s had great success developing targeting assessments and customized roadmaps for leaders that incorporate performance and behavioral elements and achieve measurable results on the ground.
Over the 25-year period, Greaux held senior roles at Pfizer, Zoetis, Delphi, JP Morgan Chase and Verizon where she was responsible for designing and executing strategies to develop, retain and progress Senior and Enterprise level leaders and their teams. The apex of her corporate career was championing and securing senior leadership roles for women, breaking barriers and fostering greater gender equality in the workplace. Greaux’s corporate career had a rich global dimension taking her to Greece, Indonesia, and the Czech Republic for significant periods of time. These experiences allowed her to acquire a great deal of cultural fluency and global acumen.
Greaux has serious scholarly and writerly chops. She’s earned an MS in Organizational Development from Fordham University, a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Columbia University and is currently Professor of Management at Montclair State University in NJ. Her recent book, Don’t Abdicate the Throne struck a nerve and has been much celebrated in women’s leadership circles.
Among other honors, Greaux has been named one of the “25 Most Influential Women in Business” by the Network Journal.
